Project 3 (Things to be done during June Holidays)

1. Choose 1 question out of 5.

1. Young Children of nursery school age often learn through playing with educational toys.

Identify some ways in which children on this age learn and design and make an appropriate educational toy that could be used at home or at school.

Your solution should focus on the capabilities of the children who will use it, and the educational value of the toy.

2. After manufacture, packaging and transportation of fully assembled pieces of furniture can be an xpensive addition to the final cost of products.

Design and make a small item of knockdown furniture that can be flat-packed and distributed by a mail order company.

The final package should be no bigger than 450mm x 450mm x 150mm and should contain simple assembly instructions.

3. All shops, stores and supermarkets supply customers with plastic carrier bags in which to carry their purchases. The device will be used inside and must have a lid for hygienic reasons, which should 'flip' or swing open for easy access. Changing bags easily should be a feature for your design.

4. Disabled people often meet difficulties in their everyday activities. Simple tasks such as retrieving objects from the floor, or placing them on high shelves can be impossible to achieve. Opening jars and containers or removing and replacing electric plugs are other examples of difficulties they experience.

Identify some typical problems associated with day to day living for the disabled and design and make a useful aid that will help them.

An essential requirement of your design solution is that it should be easy to use.

5. Mechanical toys are a source of interest to children. The mechanisms involved and their ingenious use, provide differing levels of interest.

Research some methods of converting types of input movement to other types of output movement and design and make a pull-along toy that uses two of these different mechanisms to create interest.

Your design should be aimed at a particular target market and should be suitable for large batch production.

Safety will be of great importance in your design.

4. Generate several design ideas! (meaning: draw ideas for the topic you have chosen.)

so band was cancelled today,
due to H1N1 ):
then i think the plan was cancelled.
and by the time MinJiang korkor pass out,
he would have a fan club!

today?
took care of Innes for the last time before he left for Phuket.
went to airport to send daJie and Innes of to Phuket (:
and sadly, Innes got bullied by a bully at the playground at budget terminal!
hahahaha!
and my sister asked mama to scold the kid later,
cause he damn guailan :D
train-ed to bukit batok.
my brother and i were competing on tenis in both our PSP(s) on the way there.
and we were laughing so much, due to our retardedness,
of the ball going to the left and me, running to the right.
hahahahaha!

and guess what?
i wore my shirt inside out!
hahahahaha.
i didn't notice it until mama told me when we reached bukit batok,
taking the escalator down.
no wonder i felt wierd ><
and my brother's pants was on the opposite side!
but he noticed it at the terminal.
hahaha.
so my mother said : wah! next time you become superman, you become wonder woman liao.
wearing your undergarments outside. HEH!

then dinnered and went home,

i wanna blog before 12am comes and it seperates between today and tomorrow.

which is the past and present.

so i had CCA Council Meeting today :D

was fun, Sheena came to sponsor our photos!

played basketball with Charman :D

and surprisingly, she doesn't know my URL!

went lot to buy Father's Day present after which,

we lied to the salesman that we were sharing the same dad :D

hahahaha, and he believed at first.

until he saw the huge card. heh!

but seriously, which woman can give birth to:

in a year? hahahahaha.

he said "maybe twins? triplet? quadruplet?"

so we got it and went popular,

to shop for things (:

and i saw dear Feqa (Saiful's sister)

then went home, recieved a present from my dear prefect friend,

but thats when Charman pulled me back, stopped me, and woke me up.

Conclusion: i am not giving up my juniors; because my seniors never gave me up.

so last minute band was cancelled due to H1N1.

Just the ridiculous dancing game and the basketball game.

it is currently very very sunny.

19June; Yesterday.
Band!
had lunch with Lynette, ZheXi, Shaun and Daryl(:
then walked back to school,
and back out to bubble tea shop to accompany MinJiang to buy his hotdog bun(:
went home and then chiong-ed my shower and dinner.
and went out for tuition.
tuition was a weird today,
i didn't talk much, neither did i laugh much.
so yeah, whatever la.
hoping that i could catch up since i have missed 2weeks of tuition.

i'm going bowling with Haziq and Syg later (:
while they bowl, i do my homeworks!

i am back, blogging.

so yesterday i met up with Syg,
we went to watch Terminator Salvation.
and Yes, i'm falling in love with robots :D
things in North Point are super cheap!
i should go there shopping more often :D
borrowed an English storybook using yg's I/C,
because i haven't pay my fines ><

today?
i met up with Syg,
then Saiful, Shaun and Yiwei.
went home after lunch at KFC.
then it marks the day of our temporary seperation.
i made instant cream soup,
had half a bowl with my brother and together with some mantou,
and couldn't take it already ><
i did my English Comprehension(1) except for the summary :D
another homework almost completed :D
looking forward to band tomorrow,
so i shall sleep soon (:

i am not in a good mood as i can see.
i don't know why,

so life goes on~
i think i've forgotten what i did ><
so forgetful of me.

so yahs, lets just talk about 15 june (:
i met up in the morning with Gary and YienJun,
to get my present,
but something very unfortunate happened.
I'm really sorry Gary ):

then met up with John Teoh, TianShou, AikSoon, Stanley, DingEn, Daniel and Fiona.
we went to ToaPayoh specially for the Fish And Chips Stall,
which yes, it is worth it (:
but John Teoh paid for my lunch :D
then train-ed back to lot and watched Ghost Of Girlfriends Past(:
it was okay, i din fall asleep,
i have never slept in any movies i've watched before! :D

then train-ed to Novena to meet Mama, Jie, Innes and Bro.
yeahyeahyeah!
i took neoprint with my brother, and he's certainly cute!
but before that, i had to walk around the mall, asking for $1 coins -.-
hahaha, but its worth it!
while taking neoprint,
Mama and Jie were accompanying Innes to see his Ben10 Live Show.
so after that, we had dinner at Jack's Place :D
and woohoo, finally i get to act high class again.

Firstly, i think you should leave your name,
instead of leaving it blank,
so i wouldn't have to rack my brains and think who is tagging me.

Secondly,

maybe you've gotten the wrong meaning,
but what i meant was MY Abg,

or maybe Me.

today was great! :D
because i went out with Laopo and Eugene to watch;
MONSTERS VS ALIENS!
hahaha. student price, so its $6 (:
i enjoyed the movie, however, i wish i could watch it 3D.
we saw a lot a lot of Swiss Students!

"Minjiang's so cool la!" -Tan Ying Da. today? took care of Innes for the last time before he left for Phuket. went to airport to send daJie and Innes of to Phuket (: and sadly, Innes got bullied by a bully at the playground at budget terminal! hahahaha! and my sister asked mama to scold the kid later, cause he damn guailan :D train-ed to bukit batok. my brother and i were competing on tenis in both our PSP(s) on the way there. and we were laughing so much, due to our retardedness, of the ball going to the left and me, running to the right. hahahahaha! and guess what? i wore my shirt inside out! hahahahaha. i didn't notice it until mama told me when we reached bukit batok, taking the escalator down. no wonder i felt wierd >< and my brother's pants was on the opposite side! but he noticed it at the terminal. hahaha. so my mother said : wah! next time you become superman, you become wonder woman liao. wearing your undergarments outside. (: i wanna blog before 12am comes and it seperates between today and tomorrow. which is the past and present. hahahahahahaha. so i had CCA Council Meeting today :D was fun, Sheena came to sponsor our photos! hahahaha. QMS! ♥ played basketball with Charman :D and surprisingly, she doesn't know my URL! hahahahaha :P went lot to buy Father's Day present after which, we lied to the salesman that we were sharing the same dad :D hahahaha, and he believed at first. until he saw the huge card. heh! but seriously, which woman can give birth to: Charman, Theo, MinJiang, YingDa, Thomas in a year? hahahahaha. he said "maybe twins? triplet? quadruplet?" so we got it and went popular, to shop for things (: and i saw dear Feqa (Saiful's sister) she waved happily and smiled widely, which touched me deeply and made me ponder, Where has her real brother gone to? hahaha, whatever la. i don't wanna get emotional already (: then went home, recieved a present from my dear prefect friend, and showered, dinnered. spongebob-ed. ironed my skirt and was reflecting: Charman told me never to give my juniors up because Saiful never gave us up. and yeah, my point? i'm giving up. but thats when Charman pulled me back, stopped me, and woke me up.
